The workshop for activists was held via zoom and was free. It aimed to:
● Connect you to others who share your aims and have expertise to share
● Improve the way you work with local and national government to help your group succeed
● Identify some funding sources you can access
The event will be supported by a panel of experts who will offer advice on how we can make our green campaigning more impactful.
Click here for picnic pics and here for a Bill McGuire write up. Just Stop Oil held an event at the Cross Street Chapel (18 June) where Professor Bill McGuire pulled no punches. The picnics were organised by Whalley Range Climate Action Group, Walk-Ride GM and others, following banner-making workshops with primary schools and Pinc College students. The banners and placards were on display in Manley Park on National Clean Air Day (20 June) and in Alexandra Park (on Saturday 22 June 2024).
